This connects both Houston-area recruiters and other free job board groups in Dallas and even other non-Texas cities. Be shrewd about how much client detail you post, though, unless you're intending to share that information.

JibberJobber - Started by Jason Alba, this is a free tool for career search, so it's great to recommend to candidates. But, like LinkedIn, its purpose can be bent to benefit recruiters, because it's a free candidate and company contact manager, replete with follow-up reminders.
