The staffing industry has endured arguably one of the worst recessions in the history of the industry this past year.

Many staffing firms have, unfortunately, been forced to close their doors. A 30% (plus) decline across the board in staffing revenue, layoffs, frozen budgets, etc., has nearly ground the industry to a halt. The Bureau of Labor Statistics issued its monthly report today and there were a LOT of positive noteworthy changes.

First and foremost, employment in professional and business services ROSE by 86,000 in November. And most of that was due to staffing firms placing temporary workers! So, obviously November was a big month for the staffing industry.
